Personalizing Your Fantasy Football Team
If you're going to play fantasy football, you may as well have fun with it, right? This page lets you do a few fun things:
- Name your team whatever you wish. Nothing X-rated, please, though suggestive names are all part of the fun.
- Invite your best friend to help you manage the team! By putting his/her account on the team, they can make all the same playing decisions as you do, such as setting lineups, proposing and accepting trades, and bidding on waivers. Be careful; they might drop Aaron Rogers for some upstart wannabe.
- Choose a franchise icon. Take a picture of your poodle and upload him as your team mascot. You can use any relatively small image file for your logo or avatar, and it will display prominently next to your team during drafts and on page displays. Mouse-overs will enlarge the image.
- Select your favorite player analysis site for player links, and a stats provider for weekly projections on the Lineup and Matchup pages. The default stats provider is Fantasy Sharks, but you can choose another option by subscribing to a stats source through The Wonk, DataForce's player analysis tool.
- Choose exactly how you want to be told about league actions like draft picks or trade offers. Prefer text messages to email? No problem, but if you do, be sure to list your telephone number on your My Account page.
It's all part of the fun of owning a team.
