How To Use the Friending and Avoiding Feature
Friending and avoiding helps you keep track of people you want to play against and people you don't want to play against in upcoming leagues. Just indicate the people in this league that you'd like to meet up with again (or prefer not to meet up with again).
In the lobby, you can mouse over any league name to view the number of friends and the number of avoids already in that league. It will also show you how many have paid and how many have only joined without yet paying.
Note: Nothing prevents a person you've "avoided" from joining the same league as you are already in! And certainly nothing keeps a friend from leaving a league that you joined together. You will want to keep an eye on your leagues in the lobby if you're determined to participate only in leagues with preferred owners.
