Does DataForce Really Offer the Best Fantasy Football Money Leagues?
So far as we know, yes, our prize returns are the highest anywhere. It puzzles us why more sites haven't begun to offer flat-lined commissioner fees. It takes just as much effort to monitor a $50 league as it does a $500 league, so why charge more?
This page doesn't show all of the season-long fantasy football sites available, of course, but it's a good representation, reflecting sites that offer a similar service to ours.
How do we do it?
We've actually fielded a lot of questions about how we can operate at this price. The fact is, DataForce, LLC has been around for a long time; we're well-funded and our entry into the world of Fantasy Football is well-planned. It's also a labor of love. Running a fantasy football commissioner service is what Leslie and I want to do with our lives, now and after we retire. That counts for a lot.
Never-the-less, it is a business, and we do make money. It works for us because we leverage the use of our servers, we keep our data feed costs down, and we provide our own software development.
It may be that future regulation of the industry will require a change in our fee structure. We'll see. But we intend to remain the best provider of fantasy football services at the best price on the internet!
Cost Comparison to Other Providers
We understand that different providers offer different features, and that there are pros and cons for every choice. But when it comes to price, DataForce with its near-flat-line fees stands apart.
Here are a few of our biggest competitors. The chart below shows how much of your entry cost is retained by each provider as their fee, for varying league prices. All examples are 12-team leagues.

Prices as of March 19, 2025. Regulatory fees, live draft fees, deposit costs and disbursement costs for each site are not included. DataForce leagues hosted on MyFantasyLeague also include an additional hosting fee.
